Home Place Pastures

Home Place Pastures located in Como, Mississippi, just under an hour from Memphis, has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Home Place Pastures is a fifth generation, regenerative, grass-fed & pasture-raised pork farm. The gold standard, if you ask us! Since moving away from Oklahoma City, we’ve found it difficult to locate restaurants that use quality ingredients like grass-fed beef or pasture-raised pork in the Memphis area… until we found Home Place Pastures Farm Store! They serve lunch Thursday-Sunday from 11am-3pm (check their Instagram for daily specials) and we highly recommend you make the trip to see the farm and store. They also have a full meat counter and freezers full of grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork, along with fresh pastured farm eggs!

After visiting the farm store and getting to know the staff and owner, it became an easy decision to source our grass-fed beef suet & tallow from their farm. We’re both proud and excited to have Taylor’s Tallow Balms now available for purchase at their farm store!
