Herb infused tallow

You may be wondering why the recent change from essential oils being used to scent & heal skin with our tallow balms to now using organic dried herbs. This change reflects the mission behind Taylor’s Tallow to provide clean, organic, affordable, healing tallow products. Organic essential oils are difficult and expensive to source and we have been much happier with the results of the infused herb tallow balms. The infusion process does take longer but has been very much worth it for the end product! We are now able to use herbs that are not available in essential oil form and that work much better for healing skin - Herbs like comfrey leaf, plantain leaf, calendula and yarrow.

It is worth noting that we do still use essential oils in our deodorants, frankincense balms and lip balm - we have been happy with their performance for those products.
